Do No Harm: The Coalition
of Americans for Research Ethics. One of the
best sites on the web for information
regarding stem cell research.
NaProtechnology: Natural Procreative (NaPro) Technology is a new form of treatment for infertility that does not require artificial techniques such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and is in harmony with Church moral teaching.
Nurses for Divine Mercy: The nurses provide spiritual care and support of the dying in emergency situations, catastrophic injuries, or in serious or terminal illness especially by praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
One More Soul: The website for One More Soul, an apostolate offering information about natural family planning, marriage, fertility and children.
National Catholic Bioethics Center: NCBC, established in 1972, conducts research, consultation, publishing and education to promote human dignity in health care and the life sciences, and derives its message directly from the teachings of the Catholic Church. This is where the bishops turn for advice. A wonderful resource!
Priest’s for Life: Images: This organization, headed by Fr. Frank Pavone, runs the premier site on the web for news and information about Pro-Life work. This link is to the section of the site devoted to images of the grim reality of abortion. The horror of abortion can’t truly be conveyed in words--we have to see it to believe it. These images have done more than anything else to change hearts and minds about abortion.
Your Aging Parent: A site designed to help Catholic caregivers caring for parents and family members with serious illness. The “Topics” section of their website has numerous, very practical handouts for caregivers. The site is operated by the Friends of St. John the Caregiver, an international Catholic lay apostolate.
We have done our best to check out these links and be sure they are trustworthy and in harmony with Church teachings. If you run across any problems with these links, please let us know.
