Scot Bateman, M.D., Board member


Dr. Bateman is currently director of the Pediatric ICU at UMass. He is a graduate of Dartmouth Medical School and completed his pediatric residency and fellowship at Children's Hospital in Boston. In 2004 Dr. Bateman became a convert to the Catholic Church.

Paul Carpentier, M.D., President


Dr. Carpentier is a family physician in private practice in Gardner. He is a graduate of the St. Louis University School of Medicine and has received specialized training in Natural Family Planning and NaPro Technology at the Pope Paul the VI Institute.

John Howland, M.D., Sec-Treasurer


Dr. Howland is a family physician in private practice in Southbridge. He is a graduate of Harvard College, Tufts School of Medicine, and did his residency at the North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Dr. Howland became a convert to the Catholic Church in 2003.

Ann Salerno, M.D., Board member


Dr. Salerno attended medical school at Columbia University, residency at Children's Hospital Boston, and fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrologist at UMass.

James Walsh, M.D., Vice-President


Dr. Walsh is a specialist in internal medicine in private practice. He graduated from Holy Cross College, Georgetown University School of Medicine, and internship and residency at St. Vincent's Hospital. Dr. Walsh spent four years doing medical missions work in Korea.

Rebecca Worden, M.D., Board member


Dr. Worden is a family physician with Mercy Family Practice, PC in Gardner. She is a graduate of Creighton University and did her residency at Via Christi-Kansas University in Wichita, Kansas. Dr. Worden also has received specialized training in natural family planning.

Fr. Peter Beaulieu, Chaplain


Fr. Beaulieu is director of Pastoral Care and Mission Integration at St. Vincent's Hospital. He is a graduate of Assumption College, did his seminary training at the University of Louvain in Belgium, and a master's degree in moral philosophy from Loyola University in Chicago.
